Inventory and Release Team Analyst

We're hiring an Inventory and Release Team Analyst to join us in Bradford.

This will be a 12 month secondment/fixed term contract.

The Analyst - Network & Premise Inventory is responsible for maintaining accurate network and premise inventory records whilst supporting operational analysis, issue investigation and service improvement activities.

The role combines transactional inventory management with analytical responsibilities, supporting the resolution of data quality issues, complex operational challenges and customer requirements. The Analyst will work closely with Team Managers, Specialists and stakeholders to ensure inventory services are delivered accurately and efficiently.

What will you be doing?

Operational Delivery

• Maintain and update network and premise inventory records.

• Process inventory transactions accurately and within agreed service levels.

• Ensure compliance with inventory standards, governance controls and

• operational procedures.

• Support delivery of customer and business requirements.

Investigation & Problem Solving

• Investigate data discrepancies, inventory exceptions and operational issues.
• Analyse root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Resolve complex inventory-related queries and escalations.
• Support resolution of service readiness, network record and address-related issues.

Stakeholder Support

• Liaise with internal teams and customers to resolve inventory queries.
• Support meetings, workshops and service reviews when required.
• Collaborate with Specialists and Team Managers on complex inventory issues.
• Build effective relationships across operational and support functions.

Continuous Improvement & Projects

• Support inventory improvement initiatives and operational change activities.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Post Implementation Testing
• (PIT) and validation activities.
• Assist with implementation of new customer requirements and process
• improvements.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency and data accuracy.

Essential

• Experience within an operational, analyst or data-focused role.
• Strong analytical and investigative capability.• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Experience resolving operational issues and managing exceptions.
• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent

Desirable

• Experience within telecommunications, utilities or infrastructure operations.
• Experience working with network inventory, premise inventory or asset data.
• Experience supporting testing, projects or operational improvements.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
