Jewelry Store Sales Associate / Customer Service Representative

Position: Full-Time / Part-Time
Location: Downtown Toronto Jewelry Store

We are looking for a motivated, friendly, and reliable Sales Associate to join our jewelry store team. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service and communication skills and an interest in gold, diamonds, jewelry, watches, sales, and marketing.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide professional, friendly service.
• Assist customers with the purchase of gold jewelry, diamonds, watches, and fine jewelry.
• Explain product features, pricing, quality, and available options to customers.
• Handle customer inquiries and provide accurate information about jewelry and watches.
• Assist customers with watch services and repairs, including battery replacement, strap changes, bracelet adjustments, and other repair services.
• Receive and record watches and jewelry brought in for repair and ensure customers receive proper service information.
• Follow up with customers regarding completed repairs, pickups, and service inquiries.
• Assist with gold buying and customer inquiries regarding gold and jewelry.
• Support store marketing, promotions, window displays, and social media activities.
• Help maintain an attractive, organized, and professional showroom.
• Assist with inventory, product displays, basic office duties, and general store support.
• Build positive relationships with customers and encourage repeat business.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and communicate with repair technicians and other staff when required.

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience in jewelry, gold, watches, retail sales, or customer service is an asset.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
• Sales-oriented and comfortable speaking with customers.
• Good organizational and multitasking skills.
• Basic computer and social media knowledge is an asset.
• Marketing or graphic design experience is an asset.
• Watch or jewelry repair knowledge is an asset, but training may be provided to the right candidate.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
