Senior Data Analyst

We are looking for an energetic data transition lead who can help us prepare and move the organization data from existing sources through our separation process who has exposure to banking, finance or payment organisations.

About the team

Worldline Service Australia (WSA) delivers end-to-end payment services and technology support to Worldline clients within the Australian market. Our team focuses on ensuring reliable payment processing, proactive service management, and a superior customer experience through robust operations, incident response, and continuous improvement.

Our Team

The Service Delivery function provides operational governance, customer engagement and IT Service Management capability for Worldline Service Australia. The team is responsible for ensuring payment services remain stable, resilient and continuously improving through effective operational processes, customer governance and service assurance.

Your mission

The Senior Data Analyst (one-year fixed term with potential to extend) will lead the discovery, analysis, documentation and transition of business information and operational knowledge required to support the transition of services from Worldline Services Australia to ANZ.

The role identifies information assets across structured and unstructured repositories, coordinates business analysis activities, validates information ownership and quality, and facilitates the secure handover of information in accordance with contractual obligations and information security requirements.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead information discovery workshops across the organisation.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive transition information inventory.
• Identify and document information owners and business custodians.
• Analyse structured and unstructured information repositories.
• Review Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Confluence, Jira, ServiceNow, file shares and email repositories.
• Facilitate business analysis workshops to understand business context.
• Document business processes, operational knowledge and dependencies.
• Validate information quality and completeness.
• Classify information in accordance with security and privacy requirements.
• Coordinate secure information handover to ANZ.
• Support contractual transition milestones.
• Develop documentation supporting ongoing information governance.

Skills & Experience

Essential
• Strong Business Analysis experience.
• Information governance or records management experience.
• Experience analysing business processes.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong documentation capability.
• Experience working with Microsoft 365 environments.
• Ability to work across technical and business teams.

Desirable
• Financial Services or Payments experience.
• Confluence and SharePoint knowledge.

• Transition or separation programme experience.

Qualifications

Essential
• Degree in Business, Information Technology or equivalent experience.
