The Role Are you detail-oriented, organised, and passionate about numbers? Join our dynamic team as an Accountant and play a key role in maintaining our company's financial health. In this role, you will apply standard accounting principles to plan and provide systems and services relating to the financial operations of our retail business.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and examine financial records, statements, and reports.
• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness of financial reporting.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable and general ledger reconciliations.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial audits.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Stay current with financial regulations and best practices.
• Examine operating costs and organizational income to advise management on financial performance and resource allocation.
• Formulate and implement accounting policies and ensure adherence to internal control procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience as an accountant or similar role (3+ years).
• Proficiency with accounting software (Xero, Excel).
• Strong analytical and organisational skills.
• CPA or equivalent certification (preferred but not required).
