Whether you’re applying for an internship or grad school, putting yourself out there in a personal statement can be intimidating. Join the Writing Center this fall for a two-part online workshop series designed to help you craft a statement that really shines. In this first workshop, we’ll review personal statement basics and strategies for developing compelling content, with time for brainstorming and Q&A. While this workshop is ideal for students who are just getting started on their personal statement, everyone is welcome no matter where you’re at in your writing process.
