I-Corps 7-Week Virtual Life Sciences Regional Cohort

Program Overview

The National Science Foundation (NSF) I-Corps Southeast Hub provides specialized training to teams interested in exploring the commercial viability of their ideas for products and businesses based on their own inventions, university intellectual property, or any STEM-related technology. This 7-week cohort is tailored specifically for life sciences innovators - including researchers, clinicians, and entrepreneurs working in related fields.

The I-Corps program is designed to equip scientists, engineers, and innovators from med tech, health tech, drugs, devices, diagnostics, theraputics, etc. with the skills to expand their focus beyond the confines of the university laboratory.

Competitive Funding Available

Teams accepted into the cohort may be eligible for competitive funding to support their customer discovery efforts, helping offset costs associated with travel, interviews, and market research conducted throughout the program.
