THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 12:

Black Alumni Society presents...The PreGame at the Rat

Time: 8 - 11 p.m.

Location: The Rathskeller

Before the Homecoming festivities kick into high gear, meet us at a place that holds decades of Cane memories! Join the Black Alumni Society for The PreGame at the Rat! as we take it back to one of the U’s most iconic campus spots. Reconnect with fellow Canes, grab a bite and a drink (at your expense), and reminisce about the good old days while making a few new memories along the way. Come for the nostalgia, stay for the vibes, and get ready for Homecoming weekend!

Black Alumni Society and the Toppel Career Center presents Coffee with the Canes

Time: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Black Alumni Society and Multicultural Student Affairs presents The Kickback

Time: 5 - 7 P.M.

Location: Whitten Center, 2nd Floor

Hosted in partnership by the Black Alumni Society and the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs, this lively reception shines a spotlight on the vibrant contributions of alumni from across the diaspora and the legacy of leadership, culture, and community that enriches the University of Miami. Enjoy an afternoon filled with connection and celebration as you reconnect with fellow Canes, meet inspiring student leaders, and share the stories that continue to shape our U. Light bites will be provided.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 14:

Black Alumni Society Unity Tailgate

Time: TBA, 3 hours before kickoff

Location: Hard Rock Stadium | Orange Lot

No matter when you graduated, your Greek affiliation, the team you played on, or the dorm you called home, one thing remains true: We all represent the U. The Black Unity Tailgate is a vibrant gathering for Canes of every age (including future Canes) to honor the legacy, culture, and community that define our UM family. Get ready to cheer on the Miami Hurricanes as they take on the Duke Blue Devils. We’ll be gathering in the Orange parking lot on the west side of the stadium for an afternoon of connection, spirit, and game‑day excitement.
