 facturing Hub?\, on October 5\, 2026\, as part of the Vivek and Vandana S
 harma India Initiative. Building on past summits that explored innovation
 \, the startup economy\, sustainability\, and family business\, this year
 's summit turns to India's emerging role as a manufacturing mecca.\n\n \n
 \n \n\n \n\nThe day-long program will bring together policymakers\, corpo
 rate executives\, and academics to examine how multinational firms are sh
 ifting manufacturing operations to India and what that shift means for gl
 obal supply chains. Speakers will include Shri Amitabh Kant\, former CEO 
 of NITI Aayog and India's G20 Sherpa\; Josh Foulger\, a senior figure in 
 Indian electronics manufacturing\; along with Shri S. Raghuram\, India's 
 Consul General in Boston\, among many others. The summit will dig into ho
 w India can compete internationally\, both in labor-intensive manufacturi
 ng that creates jobs and in high-end\, branded production.\n\n \n\nREGIST

 rma India Initiative\, an endowed initiative at the Center for Emerging M
 arkets with an aim to expand and deepen engagement with economic and busi
 ness issues in India. It supports CEM's India Lecture series\; enables sc
 holars\, students\, and practitioners from India to complete visiting ter
 ms at the CEM\; encourages D'Amore-McKim and CEM faculty to conduct use-i
 nspired research in India\; and creates a community of business leaders i
 n the U.S. and India with a special interest in American-Indian economic
