DESCRIPTION:Internationalization in Higher Education has become a central
  priority for institutions around the world\, yet it is often understood 
 through a narrow and fragmented lens\, focusing on student mobility\, int
 ernational student recruitment\, or institutional prestige. What might in
 ternationalization look like if students were placed at its center? How c
 an institutions build on existing strengths\, connect disparate initiativ
 es\, and develop a coherent\, future-focused strategy grounded in their p
 articular contexts\, goals\, and values? And how can the benefits of inte
 rnationalization be understood\, communicated\, and valued across the ins
 titution? This presentation explores these questions through a student-ce
 ntered approach to internationalization strategy and practice.\n\nFollowi

 aker: \n\nElspeth Jones is Emerita Professor of the Internationalisation 
 of Higher Education\, Leeds Beckett University\, UK\, and Series Editor o
 f Routledge's Internationalization in Higher Education. Her scholarship f
 ocuses on internationalization at home\, international and intercultural 
 learning\, inclusion and equity\, and student-centered approaches to inte
 rnationalization. She is the author and editor of numerous influential pu
 blications in international higher education and is currently working on 
 the book Student-Centred Internationalisation in Higher Education: Policy
